From: Birmingham, England
This curiously named Birmingham foursome formed in 1966 and is best known for including Carl Palmer (drums), who went on to join the Crazy World Of Arthur Brown in 1968 and then became hugely successful as a part of the super-trio Emerson, Lake & Palmer in the 70s. Other members included Geoff Brown (vocals, guitar), Len Cox (bass) and Rick Pannell (lead guitar).
They issued two singles on the Fontana label in '66, with the second 45 containing the outstanding, hard driving psych-mod number 'I Must Be Mad' on the A-side, which was penned by Brown and produced by Larry Page. After the band broke up in 1967, Brown and Pannell went on to become members of Galliard.
Artist information sources include: The book, 'Tapestry of Delights Revisited' by Vernon Joynson.
