Bill Kenwright And The Runaways

From: Liverpool, England

Official Website

Very little is known of this Liverpool band that included frontman Bill Kenwright (vocals). They issued one pop-psych 45 ('I Want To Go Back There Again' b/w 'A Walk Through Dreams') on the Columbia label in the summer of 1967.

Kenwright then went on to release four more singles as a solo artist from 1968 through 1969. He also became a popular actor in the U.K. and is now one of the country's most successful theater producers. Kenwright is also the chairman of the Everton Football Club and its largest stakeholder.
