British and American musician and songwriter Graham William Nash was born on February 2, 1942 in Blackpool, England where his family had been relocated during World War II but then moved to the town of Salford to grow up there where his parents had previously lived before the war. He is best for his work with the Hollies and Crosby, Stills & Nash , writing classic songs and contributing his rhythm guitar and light tenor voice to the music.
