Very little is known about this obscure San Francisco area band that issued one single ('Girl' b/w the outstanding instrumental 'Wow') as the Front Office in the summer of 1968, which was written by Gilbert Day and produced by Day and G. Zacharisen. The group's full-time name was actually Sound 70 and, according to Zacharisen, they used the pseudonym Front Office due to the A-side of the record being laid down at Golden State Recorders on the day before the June 5, 1968 Robert F.
