Not much is known of this Manchester harmony pop outfit that was originally known as the Track, issuing one 45 under that moniker during the summer of 1966. As the Nocturnes, they released two LPs and five singles between 1967 and 1969. Original members included Eve Graham (vocals), Sandra Stevens (vocals), Ken Taylor (guitar), Nicky Waller (bass, vocals), Ross Mitchell (drums) and Jon Camp (keyboards). Around late '67, both Stevens and Camp left the fold and were replaced by Lyn "Tanzy" Paul (vocals) and Pat O'Hearn (keyboards). It was this lineup that issued a self-titled studio LP in 1968, …
