Origin: Carlisle, England
Most members of Spooky Tooth originally hailed from the northern England city of Carlisle, evolving out of the prog-psych band Art after relocating to London in late 1967 and adding American Gary Wright (organ, vocals) to their lineup. Other original group members included Mike Harrison (keyboards, vocals), Greg Ridley (bass), Mike Kellie (drums) and Deep Feeling alumnus Luther Grosvenor (guitar).
