This obscure Manchester outfit issued their first 45 ('Sad And Lonely' b/w 'Sky Pilot') on the Deram label in the fall of 1969. Members included Percy Gibbons Jr. (guitar, vocals), Roy Ellis (lead vocals), Jonathan M. Perkins (lead guitar, vocals), Dave Harvey (drums, piano, lead vocals) and David Wright (bass, vocals). The excellent, fast-paced 'Sad And Lonely' was written for the group by well-known songwriter and future 10cc member Graham Gouldman, while the B-side is a funky, original instrumental penned by the ensemble.
