Brian Parrish originally hailed from Ilford, England and had previously played in a band called the Knack and then the New York Public Library (as Brian Morris) before issuing the outstanding single 'In Good Time (Love Chant)' on the United Artists label in the fall of 1969.

Parrish later went on to release two LPs as Parrish & Gurvitz (with Paul Gurvitz, formerly of Gun) between 1971 and 1972, and then formed Badger with Jackie Lomax, which issued an album in 1973. In 1976 he released a solo LP titled Love On My Mind and continues to perform and issue recordings to this day.
