Very little is known of L.A. solo artist Art Guy, who issued one 45 ('Where You Gonna Go' b/w 'Teenage Millionaire') on the Valiant label in the spring of 1967. The A-side of the record featured here on TWOS is an excellent slice of gritty garage-psych that was written by Guy, and sports a rather addictive background melody. Guy would later become the drummer for Smokestack Lightnin', which issued several singles and an LP from 1967 through 1970.
