Not much is known about this obscure, strangely named Dutch outfit that was formed in 1965 as the Frogs and included original members Lia de Vries (vocals), Lex Luft (guitar), Henk Huisman (guitar), Wim de Vries (bass, vocals) and Co Lennings (drums). In 1967, the group secured a contract with the local Tania label and issued their first 45 ('Let The Good Times In' b/w the catchy 'Buses'), with the B-side being the standout track featured here on TWOS.

A second and final Tania single ('Poly' b/w 'Gonna Fight The War') was released in the spring of 1968, but unfortunately neither of the band's records sold that well prompting their label to drop them. Sharks And Me forged on however, experiencing some personnel changes over the next three years, which included the entry and exit of other known members Dick Dickens (guitar), Hans Keijser (keyboards), Rinus Jansen (drums) and Kees Meuren (drums). A final lineup that included original female singer Lia de Vries, along with Jan Vos (guitar), Henk De Wid (keyboards), Ben de Roest (bass) and Ger Suring (drums) then changed their name to Mayflower in 1971 and played together stably for another five years issuing more singles before finally calling it quits for good in 1976.
