The Ravelles hailed from Iron Mountain, MI located on the border of northern Wisconsin and upper peninsula Michigan. Members included John Richtig (rhythm guitar), Ray Broullire (bass), Rand Alquist (drums), Tom Lucas (lead guitar), Carmella Altobelli (vocals), Brian Alquist (keyboards,) and John Heric (guitar).

The band issued one 45 ('Psychedelic Movement' b/w 'She's Forever On My Mind') on the Mobie label in the autumn of 1968. The A-side is nothing less than outstanding and was co-written and sung by female lead vocalist Altobelli.
