The Wild Flowers

From: Phoenix, AZ, USA

Little is known of this obscure Arizona group that issued two 45s on the Aster label between 1966-67. The A-side of their second record features the excellent, Beatles inspired 'More Than Me'. One confirmed member of the ensemble was Michael Bruce (guitar) who would later go on to play in Alice Cooper's band from 1969-74 and write three of his biggest hits ('I'm Eighteen', 'No More Mr. Nice Guy', and 'School's Out').

If you have any further information on this group, please e-mail to paulmaze@techwebsound.com.

Artist information sources include: The book, 'Fuzz, Acid, and Flowers Revisited' by Vernon Joynson.
