From: Durham, NC, USA

Considered by many to have been the best band out of Durham, NC in the late 60s, this group won three Raleigh, NC "Battle of the Bands" competitions and released a couple of local label singles. Members included Archie Thomas (vocals), Jim Bowen (bass), Philip Pearson (drums), Tim Hutchinson (trumpet), Gene Galligan (organ) and Ken Heywood (guitar). The A-side of their first 45 is the spacey but still hard driving 'Our Time To Try'.
