Almost nothing is known about this northeastern New Jersey outfit that was named after the 1962 Anthony Burgess novel A Clockwork Orange and issued two singles on the Rust label between 1967 and 1968. The first 45 ('Sweet Little Innocent Lorraine' b/w 'Help Me') was released in late '67 and is nothing less than excellent. The A-side is a Beatles and Left Banke inspired baroque number while the flip sounds like early Jefferson Airplane laced with an organ. Their second record is unfortunately far less inspiring.
