This ensemble was actually Michael "Mick" Leslie Jones (guitar) and Thomas "Tommy" Francis Brown (drums) who went by the moniker the J. & B. (the initials of their last names) for one single ('There She Goes' b/w 'Wow! Wow! Wow!'), which was issued on the Polydor label in the summer of 1966. A second reason why the group briefly called themselves the J. & B. was because they were both soul music junkies and huge fans of the "Godfather of Soul", James Brown (initials J. B.).
