From: Des Moines, IA, USA
This Iowa outfit evolved out of Tommy Tucker & The Esquires in 1967 and supposedly had to change their name when they singed to the Cadet label due to there already being another different Tommy Tucker signed to the Checker label, both of which labels were owned by Chess Records. Members included front man Tommy Tucker (lead vocals), Al Kuehl (rhythm guitar), Garry Wright (lead guitar), Tom Welby (bass), Bill Haakinson (drums), Bob Wissinger (keyboards) and Hugh Wright (drums). They issued two 45s between 1967-68 with the outstanding ‘Someday (They'll Reach Out)’ tucked away on the B-side of their second record.
