From: Brooklyn, NY, USA
As a marketing ploy, this band was promoted by Capitol Records as a transplant group from Australia, when they were actually from New York City. Members included Jose Mala (vocals), Louis Caine aka Louis Dambra (lead guitar), Joey Guido (rhythm guitar), Anthony Wesley (bass) and Joe Alexander (drums).
The group released one 45 in late 1968 and then a self-titled LP in early 1969, which were both produced by Bob Wyld and Art Polliemus, best known for discovering the Blues Magoos. The outstanding 'Don't You Know What I Mean?' featured here in TWOS is an original and quirky punk rocker that is rightfully positioned as the first track on their album and A-side of their single.
