Not much is known about this obscure Amsterdam area outfit that formed in 1964 with lifelong members Paul Thé (guitar), Ralph Norman (guitar), Ben de Roest (bass) and Jerry Göbel (drums). In 1966, the band secured a record contract with the local, Dutch label Relax and issued a debut single that summer, which includes a respectable cover of the Who's 'Substitute' tucked away on the B-side.

Two more singles followed on Relax in '66 and then in 1967, the band found themselves signing with the much larger and well known Decca label. Over the next two years, the group released four more 45s on Decca, with the final, early 1969 record containing their standout track 'Good Weekend' featured here on TWOS. Unfortunately though, lack of sales prompted Decca to drop Short '66 soon after it hit the record shops, which caused the band's demise by the end of the decade. It should be noted that de Roest would later go on to play in Sharks And Me.
