Originally from Yorkshire and called the Blue Blood Group, this band moved to London in 1966, changed their name to the Accent, and secured a residency at Billy Walker's Upper Cut Club. Members included John Hebron (vocals and guitar), Rick Birkett (guitar), Alan Davies (bass) and Pete Beetham (drums).
In the fall of 1967, they released their only 45 ('Red Sky At Night' b/w 'Wind Of Change') on the Decca label. The A-side of the record is a haunting number with eerie phased vocals and guitar.
