Reflections:  Is The Who considered psychedelic? Don't get me wrong, I love their music and have many LPs, but I don't consider them a psych group. The two groups missing from TWOS that should be included are Gong and Hawkwind. Either way, I listen to TWOS daily and it satisfies my psych fix until I get home and pull the vinyl out. Peace.

Reflections:  I am in love with your station. I am an avid collector of vinyl LPs and have a lot of the ones played on your station. I do, however, have to question the amount of The Monkees broadcasted. I don't even consider them a psychedelic band. I would like to see some Gong and Hawkwind. Just sayin'.....

Reflections:  I found this station by accident and its now my favorite. I am currently 19 and have always loved older music for some reason. I love the stuff yall play and hope you never go away.

I really hope to one day own almost all the songs I hear on this terrific station. This stuff should be preserved like in a musical museum. Psychedelia has and always will be a part of me life :)

Thanks for the tunes :)

Reflections:  The remaining members of The Moving Strings and The Beat-Town Skifflers Philip Elzerman, Peter Nuyten, John Noce Santoro and Theo Verschoor formed The Zipps in the autumn of 1965. The band received national attention almost immediately because of their remarkable blend of folk-rock with beat influences. But The Zipps impressed even more when their music evolved to psychedelic, including a colorful, bubbling and mind-expanding light show. It was an awesome experience for mind and body! The fans put up stickers all over the Netherlands, with slogans like: 'Be Stoned, dig The Zipps psychedelic sound.’ At the opening of Paradiso and Fantasio Amsterdam, The Zipps were top of the bill. The band also played at major festivals such as both Flights To Lowlands Paradise and the First Holy Kitsch Garden Festival. After the band broke up in 1971, their records became collectors items. At the end of the 70’s, the first bootlegs with Zipps singles appeared, and in the eighties many 'garage bands' played cover versions of Zipps songs. In 2000, almost all former band members got together again and since then they perform regularly, even in Italy! In 2011 The Zipps celebrate their 45th anniversary. The kick-off is this beautiful vinyl album Kicks & Chicks: Ever Stoned, with much unreleased material. Such as the original versions of Marie Juana (Give Me Your Smell) and Benzedrine Bass Player (Hurry I Need Benzedrine), the never-released single The Singer Was Stoned/ Lotus Love, instrumental versions, extended versions of Kicks and Chicks and When You Tell It, Tell It Well ..!, a live version of Roll The Cotton Downin 1965 by The Beat-Town Skifflers and the previously unreleased Watch What Happens! from 1971. All these wonderful sounds are packed into a stunning psychedelic sleeve ... KICKS AND CHICKS: EVER STONED is a great monument to The Zipps and their legendary music ... Be Stoned! Dig the Zipps! VP99.016 The ZIPPS – Kicks And Chicks: Ever Stoned Chapter A 1. Roll the Cotton Down 2.17 - live 2. The Beer Hall Song 2.34 - live 3. Rock my Soul 2.21 – live 4.
