Not much is known about this fabulously named northern New Jersey foursome that issued one respectable LP ('The Mystical Powers Of Roving Tarot Gamble') and a supporting single on the ABC label in early 1969. Members of the band included Jimmie Jersie (lead vocals, percussion), Joe Ribaudo (guitar), Drew Troeder (bass, vocals) and Guy Rigano (drums).
According to frontman Jersie, the group's spooky image and album's occult theme (including the record's devilish catalog number) were concocted by none other than Super K Productions heads Jeff Katz and Jerry Kasenetz who managed the band, got them signed to ABC and also co-wrote the vast majority of the tracks contained on the LP. Highlights on the album include the somber 'Gypsy Lady', Grateful Dead inspired 'Land Of The Krepus' and upbeat 'The Book'.
